1/ What kind of tour does Mekong Delta Tours offer?

Mekong Delta Tours offers its clients 2 kinds of tours including group tours and private tours. Most of our cruises are operated as daily departure tours (group or join tours). Some others are private tours and the departure date is upon request.

2/ Can a cruise be hired out for private groups?

Yes, this is subject to availability and the schedule of that cruise. Please contact us directly for details.

3/ Does Mekong Delta Tours provide visa services?

Yes, we not only provide Vietnam visa services such as visa upon arrival, visa approval, visa extension and exit visa but also has other travel services including open bus tickets, airport transfer, car rental, hotel booking and ticketing services as well. Please contact us for details.

4/ What activities are there to do during Mekong tour?

With tours of Mekong Delta Tours, you can spend your time on doing a variety of activities and enjoying a different aspect of life when boarding. The most popular activities:

5/ Is smoking allowed?

No smoking inside the boat but there is a smokers’ area on the outer deck.

6/ Can it accommodate disabled people?

We welcome enquiries from guests with disabilities. Please contact us direct so that we can discuss in further detail

7/ When do I have to pay for my booking?

All booking with Mekong Delta Tours are paid online and full payment is required at the time of booking. Clients should be paid at least 7 days before the departure date. Payment via Credit card and Paypal is strongly recommended.

8/ Do I have to arrange my own travel to Mekong Delta?

No, you don’t. We will provide a mini bus or private car that will pick you up in the morning from your hotel, take you to Mekong Delta and back to Ho Chi Minh at the end of the trip. This service can be reserved upon booking and payment.

9/ Can I pay by credit card?

All cards are accepted, pay online with just a few clicks.

10/ I don’t have a credit card. Can I pay in cash?

You can use other kind of payment such as Western Union or Money Gram.

11/ What if I have special dietary requirements?

Please notify us of any special dietary requirements or food allergies at least 3 days before your departure date. Non meat eaters are well catered for.

12/ Will any electrical equipment I bring with me work on board?

Vietnamese style electrical sockets are available in all suites. 220 volts, as is standard throughout hotels in Vietnam and equipped on board.

13/ What happens if I am taken ill?

If you have any pre-existing medical conditions that we should know about please inform us. There is no doctor on call and all the cruises carries only standard first aid equipment. Please ensure you have adequate medical and travel insurance

14/ What do I need to bring with me?

  • Sun hat and glasses

15/ Is there internet available on board?

Most of the cruises offer free wifi, internet and 3G phone signal, but sometimes out of service due to far distance from the city center.
