Cao Lanh is the capital city of Dong Thap province. It is also one of the centers of the Plain of Reeds, which can be seen as the fulcrum and logistical basis for the sustainable development of one of the six major economic regions of the Mekong Delta.

The ecological environment is also diverse with more than 170 species of plants and 200 species of wildlife including 13 species recorded in the Red Book of Vietnam.
Nguyen Sinh Sac Temple on Pham Huu Lau street is another famous spot in Cao Lanh. The scenery here brings you a sense of relaxation with hundreds of fruits, flowers and rare plants donated by local people and neighboring provinces.
