Mekong Delta welcomes more international tourists

Mekong Delta welcomes more international tourists

According to statistics from localities in the region in the first 6 months of 2018, the Mekong Delta welcomed 23,399,930 visitors to visit, up 12.0% over the same period. In particular, there are 1,582,816 international visitors, up 25.5% over the same period. Achieving revenue of VND 13,657 billion, up 32.5% compared to the same period of 2017. Especially, this year, localities such as Tra Vinh, Ben Tre, Soc Trang, and Hau Giang have impressive growth rates about visitors. The locality that attracts the most tourists to visit is An Giang with 6.5 million visitors, mainly visitors to the festival. Localities attracting the most international visitors are Tien Giang with 445,320 visits and the highest tourism revenue is An Giang with 3,200 billion VND.
